Hi everyone!

INTERLAKEN, SWITZERLAND!

My absolute #1 favorite place on the planet!!

This was by far the best experience I ever had since studying abroad and I miss it already! We arrived in Switzerland on Nov. 17 and checked into our cozy hostel called Funny Farm. Friday was our first full day in which we decided to take a tram up to HarderKulm, which is the highest point in Interlaken. This was the most breathtaking view of mountains and scenery I have ever seen. It was such an unforgettable experience. We took so many pictures of the sights and then took the tram back down the mountain. We then found a little cafe called Barracuda, which had the most delicious bagels, brownies, and hot coco!!! After that, we found a trendy hot chocolate place called Funky Chocolate Club where I had the best Swiss hot chocolate ever! To add to the chocolate feast we had a chocolate tasting at a small shop in town and had some of the best chocolate ever!! Later that night, we rented out ski gear for the next day.

Saturday morning we woke up at 9 am and got ready for one of the best days of our lives!! We carried all our ski gear and took a bus and train (which literally felt like the Polar Express) all the way up to Kleine Scheidegg Mountain. The views on the way up were incredible! We clicked on our skis and skied the Swiss Alps for hours. It was soooo much fun and I will never forget it. We thought the beginner trail was difficult as 4 year olds whizzed past us! I had my wipe out or two but it was well worth it:) I set the bar a little too high for my future skiing trips, that's for sure. Later on, we grabbed lunch at the lodge which was mad expensive and headed back down to ski one last time before heading back to Interlaken. Forgot to mention it was opening day at the mountain so the snow was so fresh!

When we got back, we showered up and passed out till the next day.

Sunday morning, we decided to walk around the town before leaving. We ended up finding a little farm close to the lake which was so cute!!! We got to see cows, cats, dogs, and chickens. I now have a new place in my heart for cats and cows :) The lake was so beautiful and was probably the most clean and clear water I ever saw in my whole life. Someone was being baptized in it as well LOL! Later on we shopped at a few souvenir shops and got myself a little Switzerland charm to remember how amazing this place was! To conclude the best trip of my life, I watched Christmas movies while being driven back to Florence through a winter wonderland!

Switzerland, I will be back!
