PARIS

Where do I even begin,

Stop 3 out of 4. It was everything I ever imagined it to be!!! My favorite city hands down, I am pretty sure I was born to live there!! We were only there from the night of Oct 24-26. Which only means I have to go back to do everything I haven't done yet!! :) Day one we took a walking tour around the city. Paris is HUGE! so we had to take the metro to most places. We started out by visiting Notre Dame which was beautiful. We walked all the way to the Louvre from there just to see where it was so we could go on our own the next day. We peeled off from the group and headed to eat some fantastic French food for lunch. We stopped at a place called Le Recrutement Cafe. I had the best french onion soup and madame croque sandwich EVER! Would go back just for that! This street had a surprisingly gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower. The first time I saw it I was crying on the inside, no joke. After we ate, I headed to the French pharmacies (Which I have an entire blog post on) and spent a pretty penny on some of the best products EVER! Then, we were on our way to the Eiffel Tower! It was a lot bigger than I thought but I absolutely fell in love with it. It was breathtaking and I will never forget it! I was wishing my family could have been there with me, it was such an incredible time. We took tons of pictures of course, then went SHOPPING.

Since I spent so much at the pharmacies, I knew I didn't want to buy that much so we took a stop to my favorite: Laduree! I ordered the most delicious rose tea and macarons I ever had. It was almost too pretty to eat. I think that is where I felt the most in my element lol! Sitting in Laduree, in Paris, in a baker boy cap, sipping on rose tea. It really couldn't get any better. Shortly after, my friends wanted to splurge at Louis Vuitton so I joined in on their luxurious shopping experience in the flagship store. We were offered Rose champagne and got to look at so many options (I refrained somehow lol). Later on, we walked to see the Arc de Triomphe at sunset where I got my first Parisian crepe! I ate it on our way to see the Eiffel Tower at night (this is what I was most excited for) The tower sparkles for 10 minutes on every hour so we got there around 7:50 and waited till 8pm. We climbed to the staircase overlooking the tower and watched it sparkle. (I literally cried, like hard at this moment, picture proof is available). It was so breathtaking and I couldn't believe how lucky I was to be there! I have wanted to see the Eiffel Tower since I was little and being able to see it was honestly like a dream come true.

The next day, we headed to the Louvre Museum. This was such a cool place and we got free admission with our passports. There is a mall underneath the Louvre so of course I took advantage of the Caudalie there. I got to see the famous Mona Lisa, which was a lot tinier than I thought but I am glad I got to see it. The room was so crowded and all the other pieces of art in the room were completely ignored! I researched the incredible story of how the Mona Lisa was stolen, which is why she is so famous today!

Later that day, we took one last stop to the Palace of Versailles. Hands down the biggest mansion I ever saw in my whole life. The gardens and artwork were so beautiful! We stopped for an early dinner at a cafe down the road where I got my last official French onion soup, which was perfectly homemade, and then stopped for delish nutella crepes.

I was so sad to leave Paris but I 100% know for sure I will be back one day!

Xo,

Cierra
